BMS brings your ideas to life using resorbable and non-resorbable fibers to manufacture braids, knits, woven, or non-woven structures to meet your application needs.

BMS’ weaving expertise ranges from custom patterns to client’s proprietary patterns; from small lot manufacturing to full scale production.  Our design and engineering group works with you to meet your needs from prototyping to product optimization.

The advantages of woven fabrics over other styles are the variety of geometries.  Woven structures are lightweight, strong, stable and non-stretch with a wide range of porosities.

Geometries include:

    Monolayer
    Multilayer interlock
    Tubular

Woven Tapes

Tapes and webbings can be woven up to widths of 75 mm. Tapes can be designed to meet your specific needs for strength, porosity, morphology and geometry. Aside from producing tapes and webbings with straight widths and profiles, we can produce them to have varying widths and profiles, we can produce them to have varying widths and thicknesses within the same structure.

Woven Tubes

Tubes can be woven up to widths of 48 mm (flat widths of 75 mm). Tubes can be designed to meet your specific needs for strength, porosity, morphology and geometry.
